Jennie Bowling - October 21, 2007

I came into TERRIO Therapy-Fitness in August of 2007 with a terrible pregnancy-related pain in my sacro-iliac joints that had left me pained to drive, walk, and sit.  This was especially hard on me because I had a daily yoga practice that I was counting on to assist my pregnancy and birth.  I could not do even the gentlest of yoga practices without tremendous pain.

Within a few weeks of physical therapy from Paige Talley I was back doing yoga and walking my dog.  Paige gave me the tools to manage my pain through stretches, strengthening exercises, heating/icing, and self-massage.  In fact, almost a month since my physical therapy appointments stopped, my pain is still under control.  What a relief!!  I have even taught two yoga classes at the studio I attend.

I have nothing but good things to say about TERRIO Therapy-Fitness and Paige Talley.  Physical therapy even beat out my yoga practice and I thought nothing could be more therapeutic than yoga!  I would recommend Terrio Therapy to anyone with pain they are unable to manage on their own.

Sincerely,

Jennie Bowling

After surgery to my much distended bladder I was quite depressed at my weakness, lack of muscle control, and most of all, lack of bladder control.  A stabbing pain in my left hip was debilitating.

My doctor was able to get insurance approval to TERRIO Therapy-Fitness where I began strengthening my leg muscles.  Knowing I needed more therapy for my abdominal area my male therapist referred me to a Terrio female therapist who specialized in strengthening the female pelvic muscles.

She used gentle massage and aggressive movements to get my muscles into working order with little pain involved.  At the same time we continued working on my legs and arms so I can now squat, bend, and pick up items from the counter and I’m working on being able to reach closer to the floor.  Because my muscles are getting stronger the items I can carry or move can be heavier.

My therapist has returned me to a world of free-moving enjoyment.  I can walk, enjoy my pets, remove laundry from the washer and dryer, and dishes from the dishwasher.  Who would think putting on my own shoes and socks and going to the toilet would be rare enjoyment in the aspects of my daily life!

Kelly Ashe - October 9, 2007

I am a recent patient of the Women's Health Therapy Program with Paige Talley.  I cannot begin to tell you how much of a blessing my experience was.

Paige is one of the most caring and intelligent people I have come across in the world of healthcare in a long time.  If I had not had a problem with my sciatic nerve I would have never known about this unbelievable program.  I do not wish for others to be in the pain that I was in to become a part of this much needed program in our community, but I do wish for the word to get out about it.  I feel 100% better than I did when I first walked in the doors at Terrio therapy.

Paige really cares about her job and takes her patients very seriously.  She not only helped me with my pain but gave me many options and information for delivery and postpartum care.  I walked out of there gaining more knowledge than I would have ever expected to gain from physical therapy for a sciatic problem.  Most women have problems that go untreated in pregnancy.  There is no need to just blame the pregnancy, something can be done.  If you become part of this program you will feel better physically and emotionally.

Sincerely,

Kelly Ashe
